Where the money goes
Grants to Spokane County high school sports programs are the main expense. The fund also carries modest operating costs: filing fees, insurance, bank fees, and a PO box. Play 4 More is volunteer-run and does not use paid fundraisers.
We publish a summary of grants and operating costs each year. If you want the details before then, ask.
Governance
Play 4 More is governed by a volunteer board of directors made up of Spokane County residents. The board reviews grants and approves the budget.
Board members are not paid for their service. Board terms and the current roster are available on request while the founding board is being seated. Email board@play4more.org.
Donor policy
- Gifts are used for the charitable purpose described on this site.
- Restricted gifts are honored whenever possible. If a restriction can’t be met, we’ll contact the donor before using the funds differently.
- Every gift receives a receipt. Email give@play4more.org if yours is missing.
- Donors may give anonymously. We still collect tax information.
- We do not sell or trade donor information.
